I ordered my DVD on Friday, the person taking my order was very nice, and he said it would be on my doorstep either the next morning or Monday, can you believe it, it came the next morning, very excellent service.
The DVD was fab, soon I'm going to get the 747-400, I also can't congratulate ITVV enough for a great job they have done.

Personally I regard this programme as my favourite.
Purely because the programme gives such vivid description of a truly classic aircraft.
I also like the fact that all 3 pilots don't get too boring for instance. They explain each instrument in very good detail and don't ramble on about items, which are less important.
I also feel the trio make an excellent job of trying to include factors about flying from a passengers point of view e.g. why you shouldn't drink too much alcohol on a flight etc and this makes the production even better.
Yet another superb programme by ITVV.

I really enjoyed watching this flight operation with the Boeing 747-200 "classic".
Captain Guy Stephenson gives very detailed information about the flight instruments, which was easy to understand. He explained, for instance, how the Inertial Navigation System works and how pilots use it.
First Officer Adrian Thurley and Chief Flight Engineer Alan Bonnick where also very clear when they discussed various systems in the Boeing 747-200 "classic".
I saw that the crew worked as a team, with some humorous moments.

What a great DVD!!!
It's my first one after the Concorde and I must say that it's amazing!!!
Just incredible that they describe everything in the classical B747 cockpit!! And great camera work on takeoff and landing!
Also great to hear everybody in the cockpit saying something before and during the flight.

This programme is quite underrated in my opinion.
Sure it is not as detailed and perfect as the Virgin 747-400 one, but it still is up there among the best produced to date.
I find that the ATC treatment is satisfactory. You hear all communications loud and clear, and you have a very good idea of the activity on the flightdeck after take off.
The flightdeck itself is very well filmed, the external views are good, and the editing is just what it should be. There are not that many programmes about steam gauges jumbos, at least not one as good as this one.
The Captain is lovable, the "aerobatic" co-pilot too, and the flight engineer is a delight to listen to and watch.
Quite a funny, "so British", trio, really.
